To a rock and roll soundtrack and an NFL theme, the RealPage users conference kicked off this morning in Dallas with typical fanfare as attendees loudly beat orange inflatable thundersticks and RealPage founder and CEO Steve Winn shared new developments, applications, and tech usability across the RealPage product and service suite. The morning's key announcement: the launch of YieldStar Peer Watch, a real-time market intelligence application providing instant visibility into national, market, and sub-market rent fundamentals based on actual transactions at 13,000 communities across the country. "In my humble opinion it will change everything in this industry," Winn said during his keynote presentation. "It is the 8th wonder of the multifamily world."
